Why this? Why now?

My name is George Cummings. I created and edited the "What Did Joe Biden Do Today?" Substack feed, which launched in November 2023. Of course, the 2024 election changed things, and I now feel compelled to keep track of the Trump administration’s continued assault on American Democracy.

I reside in Southern California and am vested in promoting the democratic ideal of "citizen journalism." Outside of being a registered voter, I have no professional stake in any presidential administration, campaign, or government entity.
